Community based academic support and mentorship encouraging good life decisions

BROTHERS AND SISTERS

Brothers and Sisters After School Program is an academic and recreation-based after school program in Chatham County that will serve students in grades Kindergarten through 12th grade.

The program will be run in partnership between our district, Brothers and Sisters LLC 501c (3), and Chatham County School Board.

The Executive Director of Brothers and Sisters LLC 501c (3) will oversee the program and meet with school district staff and district representatives to coordinate planning, community needs, possible improvements, and facility use when necessary.

Academic Support

Our program aims to work with Chatham County teachers to provide after-school academic support while monitoring each students ability to perform necessary grade level curriculum

Making an Impact

We understand that there is a need to provide recreational and academic opportunities to students of this county. From providing a positive environment for students afterschool to decreasing juvenile crime, this proposed After School Program will serve multiple purposes

Activities

This program will consist of daily afterschool scholarly and recreational activities moderated by individuals qualified to be Chatham County Teachers familiar with Chatham County School Curriculum and can identify and improve on academic deficits in individual students by working with them on a daily basis

“Endings are important, but what our students need is a strong start”
